Earlier this year my daughter went to the circus with her grandparents, as she does every summer. This time I tagged along, and I decided to bring my camera and see if I could take any good photos.
Shooting in low light without a tripod can be pretty challenging, and I haven't really done much of it before. So I wasn't at all sure if I'd get good results. But as it happened, thanks to the dramatic lighting and the smoky air in the tent, I got a lot of shots I was really happy with. Here are a few of my favourites:
